You don’t need to be a clumsy or forgetful person to insure your devices—accidents happen. Paying $10 a month to cover your iPhone, then another $7 because your laptop has slipped through your fingers more times than you’d like to admit—it all adds up.

Luckily, Apple has introduced AppleCare One, a new plan that covers up to three devices for one affordable monthly rate. By paying with select credit cards for your Apple products, you can save even more.

A Plan for Your Device Family

AppleCare One covers up to three products under a single plan for $19.99 per month. Plan owners can add unlimited additional devices for $5.99 per month per device.

Coverage includes all the perks of AppleCare+, such as unlimited repairs for accidents like drops and spills, 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, Apple-certified service and battery coverage.

Notably, AppleCare One expands theft and loss protection beyond the iPhone to cover iPad and Apple Watch products, making the switch from AppleCare+ to AppleCare One a worthwhile upgrade for anyone looking to protect their entire Apple ecosystem.

Enrollers receive up to three incidents of theft and loss coverage every 12 months for registered Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad devices under the plan.

Apple products under four years old and in good condition may also requalify for AppleCare One even if they’re past the standard 60-day enrollment window required for AppleCare+. This makes the plan valuable for anyone hoping to reinsure older devices like a MacBook or AirPods that no longer have coverage.

According to Apple, users can save up to $11 a month with AppleCare One compared to enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device.

The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree

If you’re a strong candidate for the AppleCare One plan, you’re probably fully entrenched in the company’s product ecosystem. The Apple Card*  can round out your brand loyalty.

The card offers 3% back on eligible purchases from Apple including the Apple Store, apple.com, the App Store and iTunes, 2% back on purchases when using Apple Pay and 1% back on all other purchases. This covers all your bases, from new device purchases to online buys like music, movies, app subscriptions and yes, even AppleCare One.

The card boasts no barrier to entry thanks to its $0 annual fee, and maybe best of all, it features a sleek titanium design that stands out in your wallet.

Other credit cards for Apple purchases can also help you save on AppleCare One plans down the line.

  • U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards® Visa Signature® Card*: This card is a great pick for those looking to cash in on a welcome bonus of $250 after spending $2,000 in eligible purchases within the first 120 days of account opening. The card also offers 6% cash back each quarter on combined eligible purchases from two retailers of choice ($1,500 limit), 5.5% cash back on prepaid car and hotel reservations booked through the Rewards Travel Center, 3% cash back each quarter in one everyday category of choice ($1,500 limit) and 1.5% cash back on everything else. Since one of the retailers cardholders can select is Apple, this makes the card ideal for savings on larger Apple purchases, like a MacBook or even the Apple Vision Pro. Keep in mind the card kicks off with a $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $95.
  • Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express: If you prefer to buy your Apple products online, the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express may be a suitable pick. Cash back is received in the form of Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit and at Amazon.com checkout. Regardless of the retailer, you’ll pick up increased cash back on your online purchases for no annual fee (Terms apply, see rates & fees).
