The cost of streaming services can add up quickly, but Apple loyalists get included access to their favorite services with the new and improved Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

The revamped credit card offers cardholders complimentary memberships to Apple TV+ and Apple Music.

Months of Free Entertainment

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® offers cardholders complimentary subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple Music through June 22, 2027—a value of $250 annually.

By applying now, new cardholders can get 22 months of free streaming. Currently, Apple TV+ costs $9.99 per month, and  an individual Apple Music subscription costs $10.99. The Reserve will effectively save cardholders over $460 through June 2027.

While the Reserve costs applicants a pretty penny at an annual fee of $795, a long list of statement credits and perks—added in the card’s summer revamp—may make it a desirable choice.

To activate your complimentary Apple memberships:

  1. Open the Chase Mobile® app.
  2. Go to the Card Benefits section.
  3. Link your Apple ID through the Apple TV+ and Apple Music prompts.

If you have an active subscription directly through Apple, it will be automatically suspended, as the Chase offers supersede it.

Earn on Everything Else

Outside the Apple ecosystem, the Reserve boosts everyday spending with multipliers across a range of categories. Travel, especially, is where the Reserve shines.

Cardholders earn:

  • 8 points per dollar on all purchases through Chase Travel℠, including The Edit℠
  • 4 points per dollar on flights and hotels booked direct
  • 3 points per dollar on dining worldwide
  • 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases

If you’re concerned about unlocking enough value with the card to offset its large annual fee, we recommend digging through the card’s list of perks and benefits to make sure they align with your lifestyle and spending habits before applying.

The updated version of the Reserve includes a $300 annual statement credit for StubHub or Viagogo purchases, annual DoorDash and Lyft credits, a $300 travel credit, and statement credits toward The Edit collection hotels, Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants and Peloton memberships.
